with a discreet rear hub motor, the Cannondale SuperSix EVO Neo 2 Ultegra Di2
Electric Road Bike promotes a quick and comfortable ride, with assistance when
required, across any topography.
The frameset utilises Cannondale’s BallisTec grade of carbon
throughout its construction, and this is moulded meticulously with an advanced
lay-up format into refined tube sections that possess aerodynamic profiles and
SAVE damping technology. The result is a ride brimming with responsiveness,
efficiency and comfort that is suited to all manner of road riding scenarios.
Internally stashed within this frameset is a lightweight
battery that links through to the discreet rear hub driven motor. This motor
provides up to 250 watts of assistance for when the terrain gets truly
challenging. The motor assistance level is controlled by a neat unit installed
within the top tube that can be actuated while riding so that the perfect
amount of boost can be selected at any time.
Race-inspired frame geometry keeps the ride experience pure
and crisp but blends in a certain amount of composure. Fully-internal gear
cable and brake hose routing promote a clean, professional aesthetic while
generous frameset-to-tyre clearance gives room for up to 30mm wide rubber.
A robust but lightweight wheelset is low maintenance but
accelerates sharply while the Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic gear set-up
changes through the wide range of ratios with precision and reliability. The
matching Ultegra hydraulic disc brake configuration completes a thorough spec
list with its reliable, all-weather stopping power.
