Top-end speed and superb comfort aren't traditionally associated with one another, but with the Madone SL 7 eTap Disc Road Bike, Trek has brought these two elements together beautifully. The stiff and responsive 500 Series OCLV Carbon frame is treated to Trek's excellent IsoSpeed adjustable top tube decoupler, so as your power is transferred almost losslessly through the bottom end of the bike, you can set the compliance of the seat tube to deliver all the comfort you want through the saddle.

SRAM's eTap AXS groupset is an electronic shifting system which operates without wires, keeping the look of the bike cleaner and unobstructed. The 12-speed gearing system is revolutionary too, with the extra 10-tooth sprocket on the cassette allowing for smaller 48/35t chainrings at the front to deliver the same gearing ratios as a mid-compact double chainset. There are also fewer gaps in the gears given the number of one-tooth jumps through the cassette.

With this Madone, you'll enjoy the addition of an accurate power meter right out of the box, thanks to the inclusion of SRAM's power meter chainset. The 50mm deep Bontrager Aeolus Pro 5 carbon rims are perfect for rolling terrain, crit races and occasional big days in the hills too.
